Dogs

Today I don’t have a specific topic to talk about, so what I choose is “dogs”.

I’m not a fanatic of dogs, what I mean is that I’m not thinking in animals every day, or something like that. But I like them enough.

 In my whole life I had a lot of pets, like hamsters, cats, turtles, even spiders! But what I considerate more than a pet, it’s the dog, because they accompany us for a long time.

So, following that line, something what I realized is that the dog has been next to the human being from ancient times, of course that they have evolved as we. I’ve always think that they are relatives of wolfs, so my question is, how much the human being will have manipulated the DNA of this animals to be able to create these new dogs that are almost objects of purses, antinaturally small, etc. Some of they have a lot of healthy problems because of this. Now if you think in a “chiguagua” is surely that it can’t survive in the natural space, because they are create to depend on the human. And it’s really sad to realize how people prefer this kind of dogs, and the pay for it!, when the real dogs are in the street, without a home.

There is where we found our dog “Siroco”, two years ago, in a car park of the supermarket. It’s a little monster, it doesn’t belong to any race, and like a lot of other dogs maybe someone left it. But now it’s part of this family.
